Course structure

Lesson 1. What is anxiety, and can it be useful?

Anxiety is a psychological feature that manifests itself in a person's tendency to experience anxiety for any reason. If you suspect that you have anxiety, better seek help from a specialist. However, you can identify some signs of anxiety yourself. You will learn them in this lesson.

In addition, you will receive a checklist that will help you identify the symptoms of anxiety and discover the types of anxiety.

Lesson 2. Anxiety self-diagnostic check

Each of us has experienced stress at some point in our lives. But it disappears as soon as the negative situation is resolved. Anxiety works a little bit differently. You can feel it for no apparent reason. In this lesson, you will learn how to self-diagnose anxiety.

In additional materials, you will find the test by Charles D. Spielberger to identify personal and situational anxiety. There will also be a Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and a Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), which you can use to determine the level of your anxiety to overcome it in the future.

Lesson 3. How do you cope with anxiety and burnout?

High anxiety appearing when thinking about work is something that many people experience. This is not surprising, as we allocate a lot of time to work. The practical tips in this lesson will help you reduce anxiety during work processes. Moreover, you will find out about the syndromes that people most often encounter at work.

In additional materials, you will find a test for self-diagnosing the impostor syndrome, as well as express methods that will help you get rid of emotional burnout.

Lesson 4. Practices to reduce anxiety

Dealing with anxiety is a long systematic and conscious journey. Regardless of where and in what form we experience anxiety, there are several steps you can take to help reduce it. You will learn them in this lesson.

Additionally, you will discover what to do if you have heightened anxiety, and learn 7 mindfulness practices. Moreover, you will find a checklist to help you define your values.

Lesson 5. How to maintain emotional balance

Many people think that balance means the middle, a neutral position, that is, being in a state of emotional balance, you are in the middle between positive and negative emotions. It would seem ideal, but it is not. The state of being in the middle means indifference. Nothing pisses you off or makes you angry, but you also cannot experience joy. In this lesson, you will understand what it really means to "maintain balance" and analyse good habits and various techniques that will help you with this.

In additional materials, you will find out how to build relationships with people and the world around you. You will discover how to regulate your achievements with the B-ALERT system. Moreover, you will receive a checklist for assessing areas of your life by the level of success.
