According to Uecoop research, many Italian schoolchildren don’t have the means to study online
In Italy, about 25% of households have no broadband internet access. This conclusion is based on data from a study by Uecoop, published on September 1.
Experts of the association noted that online studying is very challenging for children from households with no access to broadband Internet.
Authorities in Italy have planned for children to return to schools by September 14, 2020. The studies will have some restrictions: students will be moved to single-seat desks and will have to wear masks at all times. The students will only be allowed to take off their masks when replying to the teacher.
