The AI Industry in Europe Will Grow Tenfold
The American technology corporation NVIDIA is planning to significantly increase AI capacity in the countries of the European Union. By 2028, Europe is expected to become a global hub for the development of artificial intelligence.
The company's CEO, Jensen Huang, stated that 20 AI factories are currently under construction across Europe, designed for training and launching new neural networks. To achieve this, NVIDIA is actively collaborating with local governments, telecommunications networks, and operators. For example, it is known that they are cooperating with the French AI startup Mistral. Together, the companies intend to build a large-scale data center in France. Mistral distinguishes itself from its American competitors-OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic-by developing alternative open-source AI models. Once the first AI center in France is completed, similar hubs are planned for Italy, Spain, and Finland.
NVIDIA also plans to involve Perplexity in this initiative and to build the world's first cloud-based AI service for industry in Germany.
