China launches two platforms to support distance learning format

| News

With the support of the Ministry of Education, China is launching two new online educational platforms: XuetangX and iCourse International.

They plan to provide users with high-quality training materials in English and various other languages. A specially established, dedicated technical service will oversee the smooth operation of the platforms.

The goal of the creators of XuetangX is to collect over three thousand online courses from the world's leading educational institutions on one platform. As for the second platform, currently, one hundred and ninety-three full-fledged courses are already available on it, with plans to expand the range soon.

XuetangX

In China, thanks to the active digitalisation of the educational process, the so-called "digital generation" students have already emerged. The XuetangX online learning platform, founded seven years ago, is actively developing to meet the needs of this generation. Moreover, the forced lockdown measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic have only accelerated the growth of the platform and helped its exponential gain in popularity.

Today, XuetangX features high-quality training courses from the most renowned universities around the world. More than fifty-eight million students have already registered on the site. Over the entire period of its existence, one hundred and sixty-two million unique users have visited the platform.

To optimise the platform and improve the user experience, XuetangX plans to launch an international version of the site with an additional one hundred and nine courses. The first version of the site will be available in English, but the creators plan to add other languages shortly.

You can access the platform and take online training courses from both a standard PC and a smartphone.

iCourse International

The iCourse International platform was recently launched in the spring of 2020. It was specifically developed for teaching online, as well as training international students. All courses on iCourse International are currently taught in English.

Thanks to interactive interaction, mastering new material has become not only convenient but also exciting. It is now possible to study on the platform remotely at any time and from any corner of the planet. All you need is a computer with Internet access or an application on a mobile device.

iCourse international was developed with the previous experience of past educational platforms in mind, but it's a more advanced and flexible alternative to them. Moreover, there are currently one hundred and ninety-three courses available on the platform. Every one of them has passed a "multi-level filtration" to ensure the highest standard of materials. What's more, all the courses are taught exclusively by teachers of the highest pedigree.

The first section of the platform contains courses on topics such as medicine, economics, and engineering. Moreover, the platform plans to add many more subject categories in the near future. The site also provides a flexible assessment system and the issuance of certificates.

The creators of the iCourse China University platform have achieved the creation of an optimal learning environment where students, teachers, individual universities, and even independent students striving for self-development, can fruitfully interact.
