The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) of Kazakhstan has made a decision to stop streaming classes. According to Askhat Aimagambetov, all online lessons have been canceled.
"The Internet in our country is simply not set up for two and a half million children to study online. To provide children with high-quality knowledge, it was decided to cancel online streaming. Teachers will use other ways to share knowledge," said Askhat.
The minister noted that teachers would be able to use instant messengers and email. The head of the Ministry of Education and Science also mentioned that more than a thousand schools in Kazakhstan would be open full-time starting the fall.
Keep in mind that due to the coronavirus epidemic in Kazakhstan, school break started earlier than usual. Since the starting of the school year, 1,080 schools in the country were supposed to operate as usual. However, because of more than 460 cases of coronavirus infection, this decision was revised.
The minister added that students shouldn't change classrooms, and even if schools start operating as usual, children will stay in the same room. Schools will be able to return to the usual format of education after the weakening of epidemiological restrictions. Most likely, schools will operate in two shifts.
