Teachers have also encountered problems because of unstable Wi-Fi; many teachers cannot hold lessons and give exams.

Jaime Lozano, a teacher from Los Angeles, admits that keeping elementary school students' attention online is impossible for him. Neither the most exciting topics of the lessons nor Jamie's charisma have helped him. The teacher cites his unstable Internet connection as the reason. His students face the same problem because not all American families can afford high-quality access to the Internet, and in some areas, there is even no Internet at all. According to Microsoft, back in 2019, more than 157 million US citizens (almost half of the country's entire population) did not use high-speed Internet. According to Common Sense Media reports, some 16 million students did not have access to the Internet before moving to distance learning. Despite the active proliferation of laptops and Wi-Fi points, organised by some states' authorities, there is no talk of a significant improvement in the situation.
