In 2020, instead of compiling a traditional annual ranking of the best business schools, Bloomberg conducted a survey among students about MBA changes during the pandemic.
It was revealed that the students of the most prestigious colleges and schools didn't like the new format of online education.
Due to the actively progressing coronavirus pandemic, schools had to transfer MBA students to distance learning in a short time. The company surveyed 3,531 students from different countries to get details about online learning straight from the students. Thus, Bloomberg was able to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of distance education.
More than half of the students surveyed agreed to keep 20% of classes online if the tuition fees decrease. Students in more expensive educational programs often noted that the quality of online education doesn't justify its cost.
